- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm quality requirements
- Review financial statements, workpapers, and complex accounting issues while managing engagement risk, timelines, and budgets
- Serve as the primary client point of contact, building relationships, communicating findings, and delivering value-added insights
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, providing ongoing feedback and supporting performance management efforts
- Work with tax specialist to oversee the preparation and/or review of business tax returns, assist with tax planning, and collaborate with tax specialists as needed
- Identify opportunities to expand client services and support overall firm growth initiatives
- Monitor engagement economics (billing, realization, time management) and contribute to operational improvements
- Stay current on audit regulations, maintain CPA licensure, and uphold ethical and independence standards
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in accounting
- CPA designation or other relevant professional certifications required
- 8+ years’ experience in public accounting
- Experience managing audit engagements from start to finish
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proactive individual with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity/eagerness to learn and to teach and share knowledge
- Analytical problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (required)
- Experience with CCH/Axcess Workflow, Document, Engagement (preferred)
